Supreme Casanova: Ultimate Harem System

Chapter 74 Odd One Out.

Hugo's eyes fluttered open, and for a few peaceful moments, he lay in the soft, warm bed, enjoying the quiet.

The sunlight spilled into the room, casting a golden glow on everything. He stretched lazily, a small smile spreading across his face.

Then it hit him. Last night.

His heart skipped as the memories came rushing back.

Lisa's warm laughter, her teasing touches, the way she had kissed him like he was her entire world—it all replayed in his head like a highlight reel of pure bliss.

He couldn't help but grin like an idiot. 'Man,' he thought, stretching lazily, 'that was the best night of my life.'

But then the memory shifted, and his smile froze. He remembered that moment.

The moment she had pulled back, smiled sweetly, and said, "Not today."

His blissful smile evaporated, replaced by a sour grimace that could've curdled milk. He sat up in bed, running a hand through his messy hair.

"A bike race," he muttered, his voice dripping with disbelief. "She really hit me with a bike race. Who even does that?"

Groaning, he buried his face in his hands. "Why me? Why can't she just have a normal condition? Like… I don't know, cooking her breakfast or writing her a poem. But a bike race?!"

He fell back onto the bed, arms spread out dramatically. "This is some next-level cock block."

But Hugo wasn't about to give up. No, sir. He had six days to become a biking legend.

"Step one," he muttered to himself, "find a second-hand bike. Step two, binge-watch every UTube video on how to ride without falling on your face. Step three, pray Lisa doesn't race like a professional athlete."

He was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't even notice the bathroom door opening until Lisa's voice broke through.

"Morning, babe!" she called cheerfully, stepping out fully dressed and looking as stunning as ever.

Her damp hair glistened in the soft light, and she wore that same bright, playful smile that made his heart skip a beat.

For a second, Hugo's brain shut down. Babe. She'd just called him babe!

His heart did a little victory dance, but outwardly, he tried to play it cool. "Uh, morning," he said, his voice cracking slightly.

Lisa walked over, leaned down, and kissed his forehead. The simple gesture left him buzzing.

"I've got to run some errands for Sanchez today, so I have to head out," she said with a soft smile. "Last night was… really nice."

Hugo's grin returned full force. "Yeah, it was," he said, trying to sound casual but failing miserably.

With one last smile, Lisa grabbed her bag and left the room, leaving Hugo alone with his thoughts.

For a few blissful moments, he just lay there, staring at the ceiling with a goofy grin plastered across his face. "She called me babe. Babe!" he whispered to himself, his chest swelling with pride.

'The system really came through,' he admitted reluctantly. 'I hate to say it, but… it's actually working. Thank you, Casanova System.'

His moment of peace was shattered by the door suddenly bursting open.

"Rise and shine, lover boy!" Collins bellowed, strolling in like he owned the place. He was shirtless, wearing sunglasses indoors, and somehow managed to look like he'd just stepped off the cover of a magazine.

Hugo groaned. "Do you have to be so loud this early?"

Collins smirked, ignoring him. "So? Did you finally graduate from the minor leagues last night, or are you still stuck in loser limbo?"Nôv(el)B\\jnn

Hugo shot him a glare. "It's not… Look, it's complicated, okay? We didn't, uh, go all the way."

Collins sighed dramatically, shaking his head like Hugo was a hopeless case. "Man, you're killing me. I can't keep carrying the team like this! I had a threesome last night, Hugo. A threesome! And you're telling me you couldn't close the deal with one girl?"

"It's not that simple!" Hugo snapped. "She has… conditions."

Collins raised an eyebrow. "What, like a contract or something? Did she make you sign an NDA?"

"No," Hugo grumbled. "She said I have to beat her in a bike race first."

There was a beat of silence. Then Collins burst out laughing so hard he nearly doubled over. "A bike race? Are you serious? What is she, a sports anime protagonist?"

"Laugh it up," Hugo muttered. "You're not the one who has to train like a madman for the next six days."

Collins blinked. "You said what?"

"Never mind," Hugo snapped. "Let's just get out of here."

After quickly freshening up, Hugo followed Collins out of the room and into the aftermath of the party. The mansion looked like a hurricane had blown through it.

Empty bottles and cups littered the floor, food stains were splattered on the walls, and there were people sprawled out everywhere—some naked, some half-dressed, all of them passed out in various undignified positions.

Hugo stepped over a guy snoring loudly on the carpet and dodged a girl clutching a potted plant like it was her life partner. "This place is a disaster," he muttered.

"Sign of a good party," Collins said cheerfully, stepping over a broken chair.

They eventually made their way to Sanchez's room, pushing the door open to find the man sitting on the edge of his bed, glowing—literally glowing.

His skin seemed to shimmer with an otherworldly light, and he looked way too energised for someone with an injured leg.

"What the hell?" Hugo said, staring at him. "Why are you glowing?"

Sanchez grinned, looking smug. "Oh, that? Let's just say I had a very… productive night with the sexy nurse. My leg might still be injured, but my soul? Fully healed."

"You're kidding," Hugo said, feeling a surge of frustration.

"I'm in love," Sanchez said dreamily, staring off into the distance like a man who'd just discovered the meaning of life.

Hugo groaned, dragging a hand down his face. 'So Collins had a threesome. Sanchez had the time of his life with a nurse. And me? I'm stuck training for a bike race. This has to be a joke. A cosmic joke. And I'm the punchline.'
