"The chances are slim." Xu Feng sighed softly. The vision was indeed limited, but thanks to his baptized state, his perception was greater than most.

Hence, he saw numerous Chasm Stalkers engaging in a fierce battle with the NPCs.

They were only lucky or maybe unlucky in a sense to encounter a Chasm Stalker earlier. After all, most of these NPCs are here to hunt for monsters, given their drops are worth a lot.

Of course, there were also Miner NPCs, who ventured here specifically for the natural resources. These Miners are usually accompanied by a NPC adventure team who protect them from danger while they occupy themselves in digging the minerals, ores, and etc.

"Hmm, what are these symbols?" Suddenly, Crimson Heart noticed a few symbols that were similar to the ones on the Chasm Stalker's body.

She was about to extend her hand to touch it, but Xu Feng became alarmed.

As the trio reached the lowest level of the Abyssal Rift's Chasm, everything around them felt heavy and damp. The air smelled musty and seemed to be mixed with a hint of decay.

The ground was rough and slippery, with rocks and slimy patches that made it hard to walk. The walls were close and dark, glowing faintly with strange symbols that barely lit up the area.

A cold breeze blew through, sending chills down their backs. The darkness was thick, broken only by the occasional flicker of those strange symbols on the walls.

Carmen was silent, but her stare at Crimson Heart said everything pretty much.

"Ahem, I wonder where the exit is at." Crimson Heart faked a cough and raised the question.

However, it would have been better if she kept silent instead, given Xu Feng's response nearly made Carmen want to strangle her to death.

"There's no ladder here since no one dares to venture to the lowest level. Don't you realize the occasional sound we heard is no more?" Xu Feng replied, his gaze wandering around his surroundings.

"Since we triggered the symbol mechanism, we now have to solve the puzzles and investigate the place to find an exit path to leave."

"Can't we just teleport away?" Carmen raised the question, finding it ridiculous that they would be trapped here indefinitely.

Meanwhile, Crimson Heart didn't even bother asking and outright took out a Teleport Scroll, hoping that it would send her away from this place.
