Greatest Streamer System

After the second game was wrapped, everyone returned to the hotel.

The cast gathered in the outdoor restaurant, having dinner together. The quiz segment lasted for a few hours and they were exhausted although all they did was sit behind the booth and answer some questions.

"Aah! I was about to win. Why are you so lucky, White Lily? Tell me!" Queeny whined loudly, her face flushed red from drunkenness.

The idol girl drank as soon as she arrived at the restaurant to rid off her frustration from losing twice in a row against Lily.

Knowing her personality from her boyfriend, Max laughed. June couldn't help but facepalmed and apologized for her behavior.

Confused by why Queeny was adamant to beat her, Lily asked bluntly.

"Do you hate me?"

Everyone but Max was taken by a surprise at her question and bluntness. But no one wondered why she asked that.

Queeny had been targeting Lily since they first met. It was no wonder that Lily thought the idol girl hated her.

"Haah?!" But Queeny was the most surprised one, "Who said that? I will beat them up! How can I hate someone I respect, such nonsense…" She mumbled a few names that passed her mind and glared at June the last.

"I didn't say that to her." The blue-haired boy quickly waved his hand in denial. He didn't want to anger his girlfriend.

"Respect?" Lily muttered and tilted her head, "So you don't hate me?"

Queeny put down her drink and stared at Lily. Her lips curled into a smile as a strange laugh escaped. She quickly slammed her mouth shut and averted her gaze.

"I-It's not like I like you either. Just… You're the one who inspired me to become an idol. Your songs helped me get out of a slump, so I respect you! That's all!"

Hearing that, Lily became happy.

'So she doesn't hate me.'

Noticing that, Max held her hand.

"Good for you."

"Un, I thought she hated me so I became worried. I quite like everyone and want to become friends, after all."

Airi's ears perked up when she heard Lily.

"M-Me too. I am quite shy and don't have a lot of friends, so… I'd like to become friends… If possible." She added the last one in a low voice, but everyone still heard her.

As proof, Lily beamed in a smile and took her hands, shaking them.

"Let's be friends then!"

Queeny's eyes were bloodshot. She wanted to join, shaking hands and laughing together. She also wanted to be their friend. It was hard to get a genuine friend when one became so famous.

"Why don't you be honest? You want to be with them, right?" June whispered, teasing her, "For the record, we have exchanged contact and made a group chat. The boys, I meant."

"Ugh… That's unfair." The idol girl groaned.

Then, she drank her shot in one go and shouted, "Aaah! I also wanted to become friends!"

Grown-up, but reserved. The girls had few friends to talk with, so they acted like a high school girl even though they were old enough to drink.

Looking at them, Max laughed. His girlfriend had changed, in a better way. In the past, she wouldn't even say that. She would wait for someone to extend their hands to her.

But now, Lily was the one who extended her hand. Princess Peach and Knight Leticia probably became the triggers for breaking her out of her small friendship circle.

'Let's count Ferin out. That girl is just too wild.'

Their small party continued until 11 PM. Everyone retreated to their room after that, while Max stayed behind to enjoy the night beach alone. He finally had time to think about the glimpse of the future.

Sound of waves hitting rocks and corals was pretty calming. Max sat on one of the rocks which wasn't hit by the wave and looked at the darkness in front of him.

Just like the first one, he saw Atlas and Ferin first. Only then did he saw a grand stage where he exited a capsule, followed by Lily.

What did it mean? He didn't know.

When? That was also a question that needed to be answered. But, he was glad that he didn't know when this would happen. He preferred to stay ignorant of the future to enjoy its surprise. Bad or good.

Playing the video for the third time, Max realized something strange in Atlas' words.

'Going back once… Where? Game? No, that's not it. And the fact that Ferin looked sad is strange. What did she mutter there? Let's try to hear it.'

"Yeah, just throw this Ball of Time away in that trash bin."

There. Max narrowed his eyes.

His Greatest Streamer System was something… strange and mysterious. He didn't know how it worked.

Before that, even his reincarnation was also strange. It couldn't be explained by science or anything.

But time travel could be explained. In science theory, it could be achieved.

'Did they time travel?' He mused, getting amused by his own thoughts.

He wanted to call Atlas and ask him about this, just like how Lily asked Queeny whether she hated her.

However, he wasn't that reckless. He had his own secret to keep. And it wouldn't be fair if only he knew the other party's secret. Or maybe Atlas and Ferin already knew about his secret too.

'They always act as if they know everything, so it's not that strange and can be explained by this. I will just believe my own theory but let's not change how I act around them. We're friends this time, and that's enough.'

If they never talked about it even when both knew each other's secret, it was just like their secret was still safe.

'I don't think they know about my reincarnation, though. Maybe just my system. The former one is something I will take to my grave no matter what.'

After confirming his theory and once again confirming Lily's recovery, Max sighed in relief and returned to the hotel. Lily must've been waiting for him.
