Greatest Streamer System

Lily was confused as to why everyone laughed. Even Mr. Strange couldn't help but chuckle at her answer.

"Is that your final answer?" He asked, still trying to recover from laughing. "We will lock it if you are sure about your answer."

Despite the laughter, Lily didn't change her mind.

"Un, I am sure."

30 February.

Everyone knew that no such date existed. So, naturally, her answer was wrong.

A loud buzz resounded as the light turned red.

"Boo boo! You're wrong." Mr. Strange made an X shape with his arms. "The answer is 2nd of April!"

"Ah, I should've guessed it." Lily nodded and hummed. There was no disappointment in her voice.

"Unfortunately, as you answered wrong, we will have to throw this number away without giving you a score!" Mr. Strange said with his strange accent. "And now, we will move to couple number 2. Miss Airi, if you please, choose the number you want."

"Eh?" Caught off guard, Airi let out a strange voice, "N-Number 1, please. Because Max is number 1!" She continued, pumping her fists to increase her courage.

"Alright, number 1! How bold, saying that her boyfriend is number one here, hahaha. But I like it, so let's see what's behind number 1!"

Just like before, a screen popped in front of the boy. This time, it appeared in front of Maxwell. He was startled for a second before reading the question and answered it quickly. Afterward, he sighed in relief and the screen disappeared.

"Is it an easy question?" Max decided to ask the boy because he was curious. When the boy looked at him, he continued, "And related to yourself, I guess?"

June was also interested so he looked at Maxwell curiously.

"Yes, something like that." The blond-haired boy nodded, "It asked what my favorite breakfast is."

As soon as he answered, Mr. Strange repeated the question on the screen.

"If you guess it correctly, you will get 5 score! It's lower than birthday because this is something that you surely know. So, what's the answer?"

"U-Um… Bacon and egg!" Airi answered confidently, smiling brightly. "Hehehe, I know this one." She giggled cutely.

"Bacon and egg… That was nice, I also like it." Mr. Strange nodded in acknowledgement. "But, is that the answer? Let's see. Bacon and egg!"

The strange man stepped to the side and a fast drum beated, adding tension to the atmosphere. After 3 seconds, the answer appeared on the screen.

"It's correct!"

The colors changed so fast as if it danced, celebrating the correct answer.

"I did it!" Airi looked happy with it, while Queeny huffed.

"My turn!" The idol said confidently.

Mr. Strange chuckled strangely and continued the quiz. There were a total of 25 questions. And now, 23 of them have already been answered.

Their temporary scores were shown on the screen.

Breeze x LilyPixel: 125

June x Queeny: 140

Maxwell x Airi: 130

Some pairs answered a question wrongly, resulting in the scores not as high as it was supposed to be.

Now, only two questions left. Lily and Airi had the last chance to catch up to Queeny if they got a question with a high score.

"Now, Miss Lily. Between number 10 and 20, which one will you choose? Please think carefully. One of them has a 25 score and the other has a 5. This is your last chance to win this game!"

Lily gulped, her body tensed. This was the last chance. She wanted to win this, but which had a higher score? She didn't know. Something like this… She disliked something that wasn't clear like this.

Choosing between two choices has always been hard. Especially for her.

But she had to choose. If she didn't, then she would be eliminated.

"I choose 10." She said without hesitation, a gamble she took after remembering Max.

'He loves to gamble at times like this. And losing this game isn't a problem, I can always win the next one.'

"Number 10! Let's see the question."

As Mr. Strange said that a screen appeared in front of Max. He had gotten used to this now, so he wasn't surprised. But upon reading the question, he couldn't help but widen his eyes in surprise.

The other two boys, who had gotten close after talking for a while, looked curious. But they didn't say anything as they noticed a longing and sad look on Max's face as he typed his answer.

Getting the answer from Max, Mr. Strange couldn't help but pause and looked back. He wondered if it was okay to do this, but as the answer arrived, then that meant Max had given his permission.

Putting on a big smile, Mr. Strange acted professionally and opened the question.

"Number 10! What is your lover's parents' name? The score is 25, the highest one. Congratulations, Miss Lily. If you are able to answer this difficult question that shows how deep your bond with your partner is, you will win this game!"

Lily looked at the darkness and smiled. She already knew the answer.

"The answer is…" She sounded confident and answered quickly, "I don't know."

That was why when she said that, the audiences and the other two participants were confused.

She didn't know? That was what they were thinking.

But…

"That's correct!"

The dancing lights showed that her answer was correct. How could that be?

The one who said so was Max, who stepped out of the darkness and stood beside Mr. Strange after the host sent a small message to him to explain his answer.

"The answer I don't know is correct, because I never knew who my parents are." He explained shortly and the audiences understood.

Some felt pity at him. He noticed their gazes and only smiled.

Max didn't plan to sell his sad story to the internet. But he needed to explain it to validate Lily's answer to win this game.

Besides, this wasn't a secret.

'If only the question is who my guardian is, then I would answer Chef Rush without hesitation. But this is parent, and well… I don't know anything about them. Though, I think I need to care a little bit. I should try to find their identities, whether they are still alive or not.'

Just for the sake of thanking them for giving birth to him. And if they were good people, he'd like to help them a little bit.

And so, the quiz ended with Lily's victory, putting them 2 points ahead of other couples.

"It's a wrap! Thank you for your hard work. We will continue shooting tomorrow!"
