Chapter 438 Rewards
The Earth Zombies may be very tough and could defend against sharp or piercing weapons. However, through the many experiences of the Survivors he had read from the chat, he knew that although they have tough skin, they have brittle bones within them…
Lastly, Shane vaguely recalled that there was one Survivor who was able to actually see the debuffs of the Zombies and learn their weaknesses. It was indeed a great Talent, but it would undoubtedly be a Legendary Talent if it could see the strengths of the Zombies as well.
"Blunt weapons would be best against these Zombies." Shane reminded. Because of this, the elves decided not to draw their blades and kept them in their scabbard. Gregor still had his axe with him since he knew that even if the Earth Zombies had great resistance against sharp weapons, his strength would be more than enough to compensate and cut them in half.
The ground then seemed to surge and quake with the movement of the enemies.
"Prepare for combat," Shane muttered as his team fell into formation with their weapons ready.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
These Earth Zombies might be new to them, but they had already dealt with some of the most terrifying Zombies during the Zombie Wave, so the battle wasn't too difficult for them.
The first Earth Zombie soon reached a range where it could pounce at them…
"Raaarrr!"
Its massive hands wanted to grab at them and take a bite of their bodies…
Gregor simply waved his axe and almost cut the Zombie in half.
"Mhmm… They're tough… I'll adjust." He muttered as he decided to use stronger force next time. Nonetheless, the Zombie was still killed after expending more force on his axe.

Shane also met the first Earth Zombie and used the Spine Club he got from the Giant Zombie to crush the Zombie.
Bam!

Then, he signaled for Gregor and one of the Elves to flank. Gregor charged forward, swinging his weapon in a wide arc that smashed into the Zombie's rocky torso, sending shards of debris flying.
Shane activated his Veiled Steps as he dashed to the side and delivered a forceful blow that cracked the Earth Zombie's knee.
Boom!
The Zombie stumbled as pieces of dirt and rock scattered across the ground. He then followed up with another swing of his club to kill another Earth Zombie.
Ibrahim then leaped over a smaller Earth Zombie, landing behind it with surprising agility and stabbing his blade into the back of its neck.
Needless to say, Ibrahim's unusual movement was due to Shane's assistance.
After all, he decided to brew several more vials of potions for Three-Meter Jump Skill!
In total, he made 18 potions with the help of his Blood Alchemy Book and gave them to the ones who didn't have them yet.
Shane wanted to make more Zombie Skill Potions, but since it took quite some time to brew them, he only made these Three-Meter Jump Skill Potions because the mobility they provided could help them survive or escape in tight situations. It was perfect for combat or even for fleeing.
Crash~
The creature then crumbled into a pile of rubble…

More Earth Zombies emerged from the depths of the tunnel.
Tieria's prosthetic eye glowed, quickly assessing their weaknesses…
"We will save a lot of energy if we just aim for their joints instead of their tougher heads," He called out, "they're less reinforced there! After immobilizing them, we can take time crushing their heads."
Tieria said as he noticed that they were already using too much energy or stamina to crush the Zombies. Yes, they were indeed strong, but they had no idea just how many of these Earth Zombies could come at them. If there were actually several hundred of them, they would surely die due to exhaustion.
Gregor, who had been swinging his axe with a lot of force, realized this as well. Because of that, he started fighting with more calculated moves.
"Undestood…" One of the Elves attacked to slice at an Earth Zombie's elbow, causing it to drop its heavy arm like dead weight. The Zombies then stumbled after having off balance.
The other Elf also fought with the same speed and struck at the Zombie's legs, reducing it to a just pile of rock that could barely move.
As the battle continued, more and more Earth Zombies appeared.
Then, Shane noticed an Earth Zombie inching closer to the Light Orbs they had left along the path…
"Don't let them block our exit or crush the orbs!" he shouted. Although the Zombies probably had no plans to destroy the orbs, they might accidentally crush them, which wouldn't be good for his team.
Shane then activated Armored Dash and rushed toward the advancing Earth Zombie!
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Several Earth Zombies who were blocking his path were destroyed into pieces with that move…
Then, with a simple control of his Aura, he struck with his club!
He attacked the creature's chest, piercing through its dense outer layer!
'Ahh… Did I put too much force?' Shane thought as instead of crushing the Zombies, he put a hole on it instead.
Nonetheless, with a wave of his hand, the Earth Zombie let out a low rumble as it collapsed with the core in its head shattered.

Anyway, as they were all eliminating the Zombies for some time, Shane suddenly felt a stronger Zombie about to come.
Boom~
Suddenly, a larger Earth Zombie emerged from the back. This one was significantly more reinforced, with dense stone armor covering its entire body.
Without its Rock Armor, it should be about the size of a Tyrant Zombie.
Then, it let out a roar to announce its presence!
Roaar~
To Shane's surprise, this Roar seemed to have a debuff effect on them as their bodies suddenly felt heavier.
It didn't end there. The ground beneath them shook violently, causing loose stones to rain down from the ceiling!
It was dangerous, so Shane activated his Aura Sentinel immediately to cover everyone up!
Bang! Bang! Bang!
With the huge number of falling rocks, Shane drained a lot of Spirit Points to maintain the Skill!
Just with that move that lasted less than 10 seconds, he spent a total of 820 Spirit Points!
He wasn't in a dangerously low Spirit Points, but that move certainly reminded him of how dangerous it could be to fight in a disadvantageous position. After all, this territory was indeed perfect for the Earth Zombies and not for them.
'Tsk...'
They have to be very careful from now on.
"Back up!" Tieria shouted as the Earth Zombies started getting more violent with the appearance of the suspected Zombie Leader...
The Elves launched volleys of arrows, but they barely made a dent against the stone armor of the huge enemy...
These arrows they used were already upgraded to Master-Grade, so it means that their enemy would be a lot more difficult to kill without proper methods.
Gregor, on the other hand, wanted to dash forward and fight the larger Zombie. However, he couldn't just leave behind the group, so he stood on his ground and protected the front gripping his weapon tightly…
On the other hand, Shane could tell that the number of Earth Zombies had lowered already. Now, he felt a lot more confident moving alone as he knew that his team would no longer be pressured by the horde of Earth Zombies.
"I'll take care of the large Earth Zombie… Cover me!" Shane yelled, activating Titan's Roar to draw the creature's attention.
His powerful shout reverberated through the tunnel, momentarily stunning the Earth Zombies around. It gave Shane just enough time to close in using his Veiled Steps and swing his weapon with all his strength…
"Ha!"
Shane then struck the huge Zombie's leg and sent it crashing to one knee. This move seemed easy but this was all thanks to Shane's overwhelming strength!
This all happened in just a brief moment to the point that the elves and the others barely had time to "cover" for him.
"So fast…" Tieria muttered after seeing how Shane did all of that so swiftly. Even with his mechanical eye, he failed to follow Shane's movement…
'Just what kind of Movement Skill is that?' Tieria thought to himself and the others were actually wondering about this as well.
After all, they couldn't help but feel that Shane's level was already more than 50 at this point.
On the other hand, Shane smiled as he decided not to give the huge Earth Zombie a chance to fight back…
He seized the opportunity and used Adrenal Burst. He then used his Armored Dash to gain momentum, launching himself at the creature's exposed head.
Bang!
His body struck the Zombie's head and it wasn't enough to crush it. However, it was more than enough to push its head back…
Then, with a mighty strike of his Spine Club, he struck through its stone armor, shattering its core on its chest!
Boom!
