Chapter 171: Chapter 167: Lena Luthor
Chapter 171: Chapter 167: Lena Luthor
[3rd POV - ??????????]
Anarchy, pure anarchy. The reveal of the new name for Luthor Corp was supposed to be the start of a new age, a new direction for the company, a better one. Only, the reveal of the new name and new direction had been ruined. Ruined by an attack from a man, the same man that had blown up the Venture, and wanted nothing more than to kill Lena Luthor.
And now people were running screaming, fleeing from the park in which Lena wished to give her speech to the people, the park she wanted to change the direction of her company in. But as explosions shook the area, Lena knew that that was not possible, not at the moment.
The explosion wasn't just throughout the small park, but it was also rocking the large building that was owned by Luthor Corp and one of their headquarters, and an important one at that. The explosions seemed to have been well placed, if the crackling of its foundations was any indicator. A "Crackling" that soon saw some rather...disastrous results, as the building slowly began to fall over.
But before it could, a blur passed by Lena, as she watched wide eyed as Supergirl held the large building with both her hands, her unique power allowing her to hold it still, even if it defied all sorts of laws of physics, and made no sense. The girl held the large building like it was nothing but a simple stone, and in comparison to the physical power of a Kryptonian, it might as well be.
Lena's eyes widened as a soft golden glow began to illuminate the surroundings, as the previously terrified bystanders all stared wide eyed as Solaris flashed into form, the first time they've seen the real one in quite some time, as she tended to send out clones or her followers.
Lena watched as Solaris raised her hand, and with a single motion, repaired the building and its damages as if there was none there in the first place. And she did it in an instant, not only that, but with ease. It was then and there that Lena Luthor knew that Solaris was far stronger than the Kryptonians, and more than that...she was more dangerous as well.
'Who are you Solaris?'
[3rd POV - Talia Morningstar]
Talia was a bit amused with the reaction the Luthor had shown her, a look of awe on her usually composed face as she used her magic to effortlessly fix the damages that was caused by the man known as "Corben" a man that was soon unconscious on the grounds in the distance.
With a flex of her power, her aura flared around her, rapidly growing in size as she activated one of her many abilities revolving around healing, healing that was rapidly being applied to all those that needed it, which were...quite a few of the bystanders in the surroundings.
Having bombs explode at a close range to you, and a large building nearly falling over on top of you, would do that. The bystanders could only watch in awe as she did all of this, while she just chuckled feeling the reverence they held towards her, a reverence that would only continue to grow the longer she was a hero, and the more good she had done.
"You alright, T-Solaris?" Supergirl asked as she flew towards her, noticing the aura returning back into Solaris. Noticing her girlfriends worry, Talia snorted.
"Please, love, doing something like this is laughably easy, trust me. The bystanders are all healed and taken care of, and the buildings in the surroundings are no longer under threat of collapsing from their fools attack" Talia replied, smiling underneath her mask that worked well at hiding what sort of facial expressions she may have been making at the time.
"And what of Lena? Is she okay?" Kara asked, wanting to make sure the woman was unharmed. She hadn't done anything wrong, and did not deserve to be harmed due to the actions of her predecessors. She was nothing like Lex Luthor, that much was growingly obvious to her. Lex of this world was far from frightening, unlike his Earth TUD25 counterpart who was genuinely quite the intimidating man.
Lex of this world was an arrogant and egotistical man that was not at all like the Lex Luthor that Talia would have imagined. And while he was still a genius billionaire, that was about all he had going for him, something that doesn't mean much, nor will it ever. Not with the entirety of North America hating the man for his actions in the past.
"Go ahead and check in on your new friend, love. I'll make sure everyone is nice and healed up, and the buildings won't break or crack like this again" Talia replied, causing Kara to look slightly surprised before nodding and flying off, but not before speeding over and pecking her on her armored cheek.
Glancing around the opening, Talia focused on the health of the citizens, but found that most of them were completely fine, with little injuries, especially after she had used some of her magic to heal them up earlier. She did find a few of them were suffering from some diseases or injuries from before this event, so she decided to be kind and promptly healed them.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
Seeing as her healing was done, and Kara was about to finish talking to the Luthor, Talia teleported down to the ground, landing beside Supergirl, and gazed at the admittedly attractive Luthor.
"S-Solaris!" Lena said in slight awe, meeting the hero that she personally looked up to a great deal.
Talia smiled underneath her mask, noticing the reaction, before she began to speak.
"I'm glad you're alright, Miss Luthor. I'm sorry that something like this happened" Talia spoke, as Lena shook her head.
"It's not your fault, it's my family's If we hadn't done so many awful things over the past years, then something like this wouldn't have happened. Honestly, I'm surprised something like this didn't happen sooner, not with my family's reputation" Lena replied with a sigh, knowing that something was going to happen eventually, she just didn't think it would be in such a public manner, and in such a destructive one.
"I'm rather sure it was your brother, no? I'm rather sure that your brother is the one who hired the man to kill you and do all of this. His name is Corben, I believe" Talia replied, as Lena
sighed.
"I'm not even surprised, not at all. It's just like Lex to do something like that" Lena sighed out, having expected as such. Kara looked a bit surprised about this, but inwardly understood that Lex Luthor was not a good man, so him trying to kill his own sister was...not the most surprising thing in the world.
Glancing around as she sensed the incoming police and firefighters, Talia glanced at Kara who nodded with a small smile, causing her to look at Lena and speak.
"Well, it seems that law enforcement is about to be here, so that will be my cue to leave. I am excited to see what you'll do with your company, see ya!" Talia said with a small grin, before teleporting off, leaving a surprised Lena and a smiling Kara, who couldn't help but comment out loud to Lena, a comment that got a snort out of the Luthor.
"Isn't she amazing?"

Not sure how well this was written as I decided to try my hand at a new form of 3rd person POV, but it's new so it probably isn't the best. I'll be trying it out more though, so be ready for
that.
Anyways, have a good day!
