The God's Games

Chapter 296 Gods at the Convention: A Day with Fans

If there were an award for Best Cosplay at the anime convention, it seemed only Hanjun and Hanbin could win it, after all, they were unlike anyone else.

While others were playing characters, they were portraying themselves.

With full confidence, Kim Jung-hyun led Hanjun and Hanbin to the event venue.

Since they arrived relatively early, they didn't encounter many players on the way, but they did attract quite a few glances from those they passed.

The three of them reached their assigned exhibition area, which was about forty to fifty square meters and had already been set up by others.

Kim Jung-hyun just needed to guide players around and answer their questions.

As for Hanjun and Hanbin, they could simply hang out until two o'clock in the afternoon, allowing people to visit and take photos.

At two o'clock, the carnival officials were going to invite them to the main stage for interviews and to interact with the fans.

This way, the day's itinerary came to an end.

They had barely sat down when the event officially started, and the visiting guests began to enter.

After arriving at the event venue, Kim Jung-hyun took some photos and informed players of their exhibition location, eagerly waiting for the visitors to arrive.

In order to attract players, he had specifically used Hanjun and Hwanbin as a gimmick.

However, he didn't realize that he didn't need to do any of this; with the current popularity of <<God's Games Online>>, players were already rushing toward the <<God's Games Online>> logo without him needing to say much.

One girl was breathing heavily and her eyes were shining brilliantly as she sprinted straight into the exhibition hall.

Kim Jung-hyun, witnessing this for the first time, wanted to encourage her to take it easy.

But after the girl surveyed her surroundings, she gasped for breath and exclaimed to Kim Jung-hyun, "I want one of everything you're selling today!"

Kim Jung-hyun was taken aback; under her urging, he quickly began packaging her items.

He couldn't help but marvel at how dedicated the fans had become—immediately buying things as their first action upon entering the hall.

However, when many more visitors entered the venue, Kim Jung-hyun finally understood why the girl had been so eager.

For the next two hours, Kim Jung-hyun found himself completely surrounded by people.

Once visitors discovered that <<God's Games Online>> was actually selling merchandise, almost everyone rushed to buy something.

After making their purchases, they realized that there were two cosplayers sitting in the exhibition, dressed as the currently popular God of Light and God of Darkness, and everyone wanted to take pictures with them.

They found that while the God of Light was very approachable, whenever he spoke, people couldn't help but follow his suggestions, almost forgetting their own thoughts.

On the other hand, the God of Darkness wasn't too keen on taking photos.

If it weren't for the God of Light encouraging him, he would have stayed hidden in the corner, casting disapproving looks at the visitors, which made them hesitate to take another step forward.

Even when the God of Light urged him to interact, it sparked a small wave of excitement; any interaction between them would elicit gasps and cheers from the crowd.

Kim Jung-hyun heard the onlookers remarking on how much the two cosplayers resembled the NPCs in the game, even down to the God of Darkness's dislike for humans.

Listening to their praises and seeing the bustling exhibition, Kim Jung-hyun felt both happy and proud.

They probably didn't expect this, did they?

The two people in front of them were the ones portraying the God of Light and God of Darkness in the game, the very NPCs themselves.

It was only natural for them to embody their roles so well.

Before long, the news that the World of Eorera was selling merchandise and had two handsome cosplayers spread, creating a massive crowd around their exhibition.

It wasn't until the staff stepped in to help manage the situation that things became a bit more orderly.

It wasn't until noon, when the visitors went out to eat, that the exhibition calmed down a bit.

Kim Jung-hyun was quite exhausted; he initially handled merchandise sales, and after selling everything out, he helped maintain order.

Finally feeling a bit relaxed, Kim Jung-hyun asked Hanjun and Hwanbin, "What do you want to eat? I'll go buy something."

They hadn't brought any food with them, so they could only buy snacks at the exhibition hall.

However, Hanjun shook his head and said, "No need; Hwanbin and I won't eat."

Kim Jung-hyun's first reaction was, "How can you not eat? You've been busy all morning. You should at least have something to regain your strength; there's more to do in the afternoon."

Hanjun replied, "We're fine. You eat well and take a stroll outside. We'll need you to look after the exhibition when we go for the interview later."

Since Hanjun had said so, Kim Jung-hyun didn't press the issue further.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

After he left, Hanbin took off his hood and sat next to Hanjun with a hum.

Hanjun responded, "I know you don't like human food; that's why I didn't send him to buy anything."

Hanbin turned his head away, saying, "We don't need to eat these things anyway."

Hanjun didn't say anything more.

He knew that saying too much now would be like advocating for humans on Hanbin's behalf; he could only wait until Hanbin figured things out for himself.

Thinking this, he glanced at Hanbin, who had been unable to put down his phone since arriving on Earth.

Of course, Hanbin noticed Hanjun's gaze.

Ever since Hanjun brought him to Earth, he had been very curious about phones, earning him the nickname "phone addict" from Hanjun.

But it must be said that the inventions of humans do have their practical uses.

To this, Hanjun replied, "Of course! Who knows, maybe after a few hundred years, the World of Eorera will invent similar tools."

Hanbin initially dismissed the idea, but then thought that if there were products similar to phones, he might give them a try.
