Akhand Bharatiya Empire, Imperial capital Bengaluru, Simhasana Bhawana
Ganesh ran to the office of Vijay with an excited expression on his face. He was so excited that he even ignored his own etiquette rules, which he had set to be followed by his subordinates in the Emperor's office. Ignoring them was something he never did, as it would set a bad precedent for his subordinates. However, today was one of the rare exceptions due to the kind of news he possessed. Fortunately, although he ignored the etiquette because he was in a hurry, he did not forget to knock on the door of the office and wait for His Majesty's permission to enter.
" Come in "
Vijay put down his pen and looked at Ganesh with a curious expression on his face. He folded his hands and waited for Ganesh to explain the reason why he was in such a hurry to reach him, which Vijay had figured out with a single look.
Ganesh was panting a little but not for long because he had not really exerted too much effort. However, knowing that His Majesty had noticed his unusual behaviour made him embarrassed.
Looking up at his majesty and remembering the news he had just received from the high-speed Arkha Dristhi communication line connected to some of the most important regions in the empire, he immediately forgot his embarrassment and excitedly informed, "Your Majesty, the people from the Yazidi Tribe have responded, and they asked to meet with our representative in four days."
Vijay's eyes immediately lit up. He was worried that the action of directly approaching the spies of the Yazidi Tribe had startled them and made them wary of the Bharatiya Empire. However, fortunately, it looked like the worst thing had not happened.
"Is the location for the meeting mentioned?" Vijay asked.
Ganesh immediately flipped open the paper he was holding in his hand and passed it to Vijay. "The date is set to 20th May 1659, the time is set to 8:00 AM in the morning, and the location is set to a unique mountain in the shape of an eagle in the dense forest in the vicinity of Baghdad."
Reading the data, Vijay fell into deep thought. He looked at the map to confirm the location, but when he did, he suddenly had a flash of inspiration. He got an idea that would make the Zangana family collapse faster. A smile appeared on his face.
"The Zangana family is currently huddled in the city of Mosul, isn't it?" Vijay asked.
Ganesh nodded. "Yes, Your Majesty, but despite losing Baghdad in the central region, they still have a lot of power in the southern region of their family-controlled territory. Since they still control four cities with considerable offensive and defensive capabilities like Hillah, Kufa, Samawah, and Basra they still have some fighting capabilities. According to the update I received from the barracks in Chabahar Bay, around 70% of the strength of the Zangana family is located in these cities, while the remaining 30% is concentrated in the region of Kurdistan alone, more specifically in the cities of Mosul, Kirkuk, Erbil, and Urmia."
Then he thought of the reason why His Majesty asked such a question.
"Your Majesty, if you want the Atashban family to further attack any of these cities, Commander Ramayya Senapati requested you to reconsider the decision."
Vijay quickly looked at the map on his wall and understood the situation. "Is it because of insufficient soldiers?" he asked, as he found that the distance from Baghdad to all the above-mentioned cities was indeed a little too far and the army would be spread thin. However, thankfully, he had some other ideas now.
Ganesh nodded. "Exactly, Your Majesty. According to the updates the Emperor's office has received, although the Atashban family has advanced weaponry we provide, they lack the soldiers to wield them. So even if we increase our support, it is bound to not have too much of an advantage."
"So Commander Ramayya Senapati suggested that either we slow down our operations or Your Majesty gives him permission to lead an army and deal with it personally."
' As expected, ' He thought
Vijay kept staring at the map for half an hour straight as he was finalising the plan in his mind, and finally, when Ganesh was about to leave the office, planning to give His Majesty ample time to think, Vijay turned towards him and ordered,
"Summon Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar to my office as soon as possible."
Ganesh hurriedly nodded his head.
Then, as Ganesh waited, Vijay took out a fresh piece of paper and hurriedly wrote down a lot of instructions on it.
"Send this letter to Commander Ramayya Senapati," Vijay said as he handed over the folded piece of paper with a lot of gibberish written on it. Ganesh looked at it unconsciously, but he did not question it since he knew that His Majesty would have written the letter in the encrypted language.
Vijay was satisfied seeing the serious expression on Ganesh's face, but he suddenly remembered something. The diplomatic event of contacting the Yazidi people was a bit special and could not be done in the normal way, so he immediately thought of a solution and enquired, "Who is the intelligence agent responsible for the region controlled by the Zangana family?" he asked.
Hearing the question, Ganesh immediately couldn't remember the name, so he quickly pulled out a notebook in which he usually wrote down all the important things and looked through it. Flipping a few pages, he found it. "The captain of the intelligence network in the Zangana family's region is called Balwan Pannu, and the vice-captain is called Jamil Baloch."
"Hmm." Vijay stroked his chin without saying anything.

Ganesh, reaching his own office, immediately summoned the Minister of External Affairs, Jaishankar, and mailed the confidential information through the Arkha Dristhi Communication Channel. In the same channel, he also informed the captain of intelligence in the Zangana family territory to be on standby and accept commands from His Majesty directly.
Jaishankar, who received the news, did not hesitate anymore and quickly set off to the Royal Palace, leaving everything on pause.
Vijay, meeting with Jaishankar, quickly explained his ideas about bringing down the Zangana family and, more importantly, putting forward his own requirements for the negotiation with the Yazidi people.
Ramayya Senapati, in the barracks on the outskirts of Chabahar Bay, immediately decrypted the letter His Majesty had sent and became excited.
' The time for me to act is not far away,' he thought to himself as his eyes burned with anticipation.

In an unknown hilly region
Ezidi Serwan, looking through the window of his manor, let out a sigh of relief because preparations to evacuate their current location at any time had been made, and all the resources required for the travel and starting up a new town had been packed.
It was only after all these preparations were done that he put forward his intention of contacting the Bharatiya Empire. If these precautions had not been taken, he wouldn't have dared to risk the extermination and disappearance of his race on the premise that the Bharatiya Empire did not mean them harm.
"Chief, I have got a response from the people of the Bharatiya Empire. They accepted all our requests, and they informed us that they would be sending one of their ministers along with some security to meet with us," Barzan informed with excitement visible on his face.
Ezidi Serwan nodded his head in acknowledgement. 'Oh almighty lord, bless your child, for he is taking a leap of faith believing it to change the destiny of your children,' he prayed devoutly in his heart.

19th May 1659
Minister Jaishankar, who had managed to set off from the Bharatiya Empire nearly three days ago, finally let out a sigh of relief since he could already see the silhouette of Baghdad, a city currently controlled by allies of the Bharatiya Empire, more specifically the Atashban family.
When he set off from Mumbai, he was really worried since he knew he would have to travel through an enemy-controlled region to reach his destination. But fortunately, he realized he did not have to worry too much.
He reached the coastal town at the end of the Persian Gulf through one of the merchant ships of the Bharatiya Empire, and from there, using many smuggling routes that had been newly opened up and also the already available ones, he was able to bypass many cities controlled by the Zangana family and reach the central city of Baghdad.
Arriving in Baghdad, he was not treated with any special care since his identity was not revealed to the people of the Atashban family. This was done deliberately because His Majesty Vijay did not want the Persians to get to know about the Bharatiya Empire's plan to help the Yazidis build their own nation, a nation carved out of the present Safavid Empire no less.
Although even if they knew, the Atashban family could not do anything about it, Vijay did not want to make the relationship too stiff between the Bharatiya Empire and the family with the highest probability of becoming the Persian royal family.
Jaishankar only spent a night resting in Baghdad as he resolutely left with the captain of intelligence, Balwan Pannu, along with a few security forces.
