Samuel let these people mingle, he was here to do a job so he left the ghost soldiers deal with Raphael and his small band of brothers. Later he would inform Lucie to make necessary arrangements going along with thr contracts signing.

Under their watch he walked to the barn again this time resolute to subdue these fierce horses. Everyone watched as he put his hand on the horse's face which made a whimper like noise before becoming completely docile.

They noticed Samuel saying few words to the horse, Elise also became curious seeing him reach for the door again. This time no one dared to stop him, even the staff were baffled by his actions.

They just found out about the existence of these super soldiers, thinking if they did inappropriate behind his back. With these set of extra eyes they knew he would be aware of it if they dare to talk badly behind his back.

Such a boss was both a blessing and a curse, blessing because they were paid handsomely on time and they didn't have to worry about anything else as long as they did their job correctly.

A curse because they found this boss to be much more dangerous and cunning. They had heard Henri warn them about doing anything foolish like one of their colleague did, she spied on him exchanging information with the government butbnext thing they knew she was thrown out without explanation.

Fortunately, her punishment were not severe like blackballing or erasing her from the face of the earth but it did cast doubt in everyone's heart because it was a substantial amout of money that she was given for her services.

Now they didn't dare to do anything reckless, taking Henri's warning to heart.

Meanwhile he let out the grey horse by gently pulling on its lease. The horse behaved much more docile going along with everything, Samuel even put on a saddle on top of its back preparing to hop on it.

" Will it be safe? She will not attack us again right?" Elise said with a worried expression.

" Don't worry, I warned her that I will punish h r if she dare to do it again. Isn't that right?" He turned toward the horse again which seemed to understand it's predicament. Defying this white haired man, was death and the horse knew it. It enthusiastically neighed making cheerful noises which put a smile on Elise's face.

Now she became eager for a ride, she was tugging and pulling on his clothes saying ' quickly' 'quickly'. He smiled and first handed the thick blanket to one of the staff and traded it for a long black jacket. Putting Elise inside of it, he told her to hug him tightly.

The little girl did as she was told feeling the warmth of his body which seemed to calm her down. It was a chilly morning, riding the horse in this weather, the cold breeze could make her sick.

" You guys have some rest and get something to eat. We will meet for meeting after breakfast for now, you don't have to accompany me."

Raphael was a little distraught by his orders, how could they leave him be. He had did some digging knowing that the government was keeping an eye on him, anything could happen when it came to the state.

Right as he was about to say something, the leader of the ghost soldiers grabbed his arm before saying," Don't worry about young master's safety. He is more powerful than us, so much so that even our commander couldn't force him to display his full strength."

" Commander?"

" It's the person who is incharge with the safety of every Rothschild family member. He is among the two most people that I know off but there are signs of some powerful enemies that could put up a challenge." He didn't divulge further but Raphael was intrigued by his statement.

Commander and one other person? More poweful enemy? Doesn't have a limit? His mind was going through a million thought but he was again awoken by his voice," Everything will be revealed in time. For now, you should get your men more familiar with this place. I will take you to the head butler, Henri.

He will guide you through everything."

Raphael was taken away looking at Samuel's back as he rode with Elise toward the sunrise. Elise was giggling loudly cheering for him to go faster.

Riding through the dense grass field alongside the small river, looking at the greenery as rising warmth made the frosty leaves drenched in tiny droplets. They enjoyed the cheerful morning waiting for breakfast to be prepared.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

" He must keep his words. We have been staring at our entire business for few days now with no moment from their side." The other man reported earnestly.

" I told you repeatedly not to spoil him. This happened because of your oversight, others wouldn't be happy when they finds out who we are up against." The older man warned again with a complicated expression. Through sheer luck, they ran across one of the most feared person on this planet.
