"Taoist Friend Liu is correct, we can catch up on old times later, and attend to the important matters first," replied Zhou Chun, nodding slightly before he followed Liu Shiyun out of the room.

Outside, an impressive white-furred fox was languidly grooming itself.

On seeing the two emerge, the white-furred fox only glanced at Zhou Chun before "gaa-gaaing" at Liu Shiyun.

Zhou Chun was aware that this white-furred fox was Taoist Mingxia’s mount and beloved pet, nurtured into a mid-grade second-order Demon Beast.
